YDC Dance is one of the Midlands Premiere Dance Studios, and is an appointed UKA Examination Centre. We specialise in Social Ballroom and Latin American Dancing and Medallist Ballroom and Latin American Dancing and enjoy teaching all standards, from beginners to competitors and professionals. There is the option to learn in classes or by private tuition. The company also teaches Sequence,Salsa, Argentine Tango, Street, Freestyle and Rock n Roll to a very high medallist standard.
In addition to our busy class program, we offer to all our clients a weekly Friday social evening, regular workshops, monthly themed dances and occasional dance weekends and holidays.  Our staff are UKA qualified teachers to a minimum of associate member level. They are also CRB checked and hold first aid and fire fighting certificates. In addition to our qualified staff we have student teachers that assist in our classes as part of their training. Please check our profiles link to gain more information.
From our large car park (for about 30 cars) you'll enter the lobby where there is secure entry system. You'll then be admitted to a comfortable, air conditioned, reception area that has a comprehensive refreshments facility. We encourage you to come in and meet your friends for coffee etc even if you don't come in to dance that day. Reception leads to our air conditioned studio, which is available for our students to practice, and to our Ballroom, which is where our classes and functions are held. Both rooms have full professional pa systems in place.

We hold a Social Evening every Friday evening 9 - 11 pm. This a session designed for you to get together with your dancing friends for a coffee and a chat whilst having the chance to practice what you've been learning in your classes and lessons. Everyone is welcome.

We're proud to present a Themed Dance on the second Saturday of every month. These are always 'ticket in advance' only, with no exceptions, and for the comfort of the dancers they are limited to 60 per event. We have a formal ball four times a year, and it has been said that these events are more like private parties!

 This exciting NEW class, incorporating basic moves from different styles including ballet, freestyle, and Ballroom is designed as a movement to music class for 3 - 6 year olds. There are limited spaces in the class so if you or your neighbours have children of this age please contact us now to book in.
